Dr. Stephanie Black
DC MS BSc Chiropractor
Dr. Stephanie Black was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario. She started her education studying Kinesiology at McMaster University, then completed a Masters of Science focusing on sub acute concussion at the University of Victoria. After this she She obtained her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree with honours from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
Dr. Black applies an evidence-informed approach, this is a multidisciplinary and patient-centred approach to chiropractic care. She uses a combination of manual chiropractic care, movement rehabilitation and strength building exercises in addition to patient education. Dr. Black is focused on re-establishing optimal function to facilitate and empower her patients’ return to doing the things that they love. Dr. Black is Active Release Technique trained and practices a diversified style of chiropractic care.
When she’s not in the office, you can find Steph at her local CrossFit gym, road biking around Victoria or planning her next hiking trip. Living an active lifestyle and connecting with loved ones are the ways she finds balance during her time away from the office.
